We’ve been contacted by Keith Sorg, the Activity Director at Church of God Home in Carlisle, to participate in a car show he is planning for their residents. I’ve attached the flyer for your review.

As you’ll see on the flyer, the date is May 9th which is a Monday. Kind of unusual for a car show, but their residents are all retired and so are the majority of us so hopefully we’ll be able to provide them with a good turnout. I know many members have other vehicles besides their Corvettes. Any and all types are welcome according to the flyer so pick which one of your toys you’d like to drive that day. 😊 We’ll park in the Latort Apartment parking lot which is next to the home.

To avoid Keith being inundated with calls or emails, please respond to me directly if you can attend. He would like a count of cars from me by April 25th. That gives him plenty of time to arrange for the residents of the apartment building cars’ to be moved.

Keith worked at Thornwald when we participated in their car shows which is how he was familiar with our club. He said the residents at Thornwald loved seeing our cars and he’s sure his residents will as well.

Let’s give them a good show! I’ll provide more details as the time gets closer, but please mark the date in your calendar and let me know no later than April 25th if you can attend.
